SURRENDER ALL

I share this blog based on my readings today in 2 Corinthians 1-4 and earnestly want to share the insights that I received. Credit to the VOICE Bible.

  • He consoles us as we endure the pain and hardship of life so that we may draw from his comfort and share it with others in their own struggles.

  • We thought we would have to serve out our death sentences right then and there. As a result we realized that we would no longer rely on ourselves and that we must trust solely in God who possesses the power to raise the dead.

  • It is only when you suffer that you can meet God as your Comforter. It is when we seem to have come to the end of ourselves that we see and experience the fullness of God in entirely new ways.

  • But when our dark days come we should be ready to learn, grow, and experience the fullness of God in the midst of our troubles.

  • In Jesus we hear a resounding “yes” to all of God’s many promises. This is the reason we say “Amen” to and through Jesus when giving glory to God.

  • The word of God is not a commodity. Let my record be based on the fruit in the lives of others.

As I continue to ‘dig’ for answers to today’s challenges, I was reminded by a client who drove 8 hours to celebrate his year plus sobriety with my team. And he said the following, “After I left treatment it was a real struggle with cravings, and my DOC (Drug of Choice) within arms reach. But I would hear your voice and the power behind it in your messages to us daily about Jesus and the Bible…and that would get me through the temptations every time.” That is evidence of my fruit!

To beat any addiction, to face any struggle, we have to surrender all. When we come to the end of ourselves and discover that we have a risen savior to depend on. You see my boldness is that all the other God’s are dead. And our life battles, struggles, or whatever we want to call it, is a ‘Battle of the God’s. But my God always wins; like he is doing right now. I say this with no apology.

Surrender all to him and let him win this and every other battle for you from here on in!

    You think about it!

    Good evening universe!

Have a Blessed day in the Lord. You deserve it.

Until then, ‘nothing changes if nothing changes’ and ‘the same person will always use’.
